I have been a passionate dog owner for most of my life, understanding the relationship that owners have with their dogs. I have been a dog trainer and handler for much of my life, and have the experience and trustworthiness to be the lead trainer for North Branch Obedience. Many of my students have gone on to earn various AKC titles, even with dogs that are not purebred! I train using the rules and regulations of "The American Kennel Club".

I am also an AKC, CGC Evaluator and an AKC Farm Dog Judge, ATT Judge. I can test for CGC, CGCA, CGCU, and S.T.A.R. puppy class.

I am a member in good standing of DPCA, Illini Doberman Club, APDT. I exclusively train my own dogs and have put numerous obedience titles on my dog "Rumer". I have also shown in conformation and have many AKC champions to date.

I have always had dogs in my life. One memory I have when I was young, is of my Uncle Johnny who would make sure that the dogs he found at the racetrack would make it to our house and become permanent residents. He refused to leave any of them to survive on their own.
My daughter Alyssa and I have been active in AKC events. I participated in Obedience trials with our Shetland Sheepdog, and she has shown in Junior Showmanship with her English Cocker Spaniel and English Springer Spaniel. Alyssa has also competed at Eukanuba when she was 9 years old and at Westminster Kennel Club numerous times. I am also a photographer who specializes in canine photography, and I love to craft and sew.
