I have always had dogs in my life. One memory I have when I was young, is of my Uncle Johnny who had thoroughbred racehorses and he would make sure that the dogs he found at the racetrack would make it to our house and become permanent residents. He refused to leave any of them to survive on their own.

My daughter Alyssa and I have been active in AKC events. I participated in Obedience trials with our Shetland Sheepdog, and she has shown in Junior Showmanship with her English Cocker Spaniel and English Springer Spaniel. Alyssa has also competed at Eukanuba when she was 9 years old and at Westminster Kennel Club numerous times. I am also a photographer who specializes in canine photography
